September Birth Month Stamp Counted Cross Stitch Kit

These counted cross stitch designs take inspiration from the ancient tradition of giving seasonal flowers as gifts. Over time symbolism and meanings have been attached to these blooms. Today they are a personal and thoughtful way to celebrate the important milestones of life.

Morning glory is the birth month flower for September. The leaves symbolise wisdom and the flowers youthfulness and fleeting beauty. They may be gifted to express both romantic love and friendship.

Stitched in three strands of embroidery thread on perforated paper the finished stamp is 61 × 73 stitches and measures approximately 11cm x 13cm. Once finished the needlework may be cut out using scissors and mounted on a backing or in a frame. We recommend using a glue such as ‘No More Nails’. The frame is not included but may be purchased from Hobbycraft.

The kit contains all you need to stitch your stamp: Full colour instructions and charts, 14 count perforated cross stitch paper, Anchor and DMC stranded embroidery thread, John James needle, white backing card.
