Can the models be customized, and if so, how?

Yes, VTubers can be customized within VTube studio. In VTube Studio, go to model settings. Look for the button "Customize Model". Choose the option "multiply/screen color for artmeshes". Select the part on the model you want to change. Recolor it with the color you like. Or set the Alpha color to zero to make it invisible. Color edits can be limited. For detailed color edits. The texture file of the vtuber is allowed to be edited with editing software. This also goes for PNG & GIFTubers.

What are the stages in creating a custom character?

Concept Creation ✨: The client provides reference information for custom characters, chibis, emotes, VTubers, banners, or anime illustrations. Unlimited references are allowed to ensure client satisfaction with the initial concept.

Custom and personalized orders

Yes, all models are allowed to be used commercially and are also allowed to be edited. Models are not allowed to be redistributed or resold. Copyrights of the model are also not owned after purchase.
