Artist Statement: Susan Sorrentino
I have been an artist all of my life. I received my Bach. of Fine arts degree from the Univ. of Florida. in USA. I make wearable art and objects of art. Mixed media is my preferred materials. I also paint both on canvas and garments. I sell my art thru select art galleries and better specialty shops. For 28 years I sold directly to the public at juried fine art street festivals throughout the USA. In 2014, I was forced to retire from shows for health issues. I am so pleased to be able to sell my art directly to my art patrons here in my Etsy shop. My love for Vintage items stems from the fact that my MOM was an antique dealer for 45 years. She is no longer here, but I still love the hunt and discovery and reselling of Vintage. I gained a lot of knowledge just from helping her all of my life. i am happy to offer my FINDS here. It makes me feel close to MOM.
