Make Jewelry From Your Old Silverware, Transform Vintage Heirloom Silverplated Flatware into Necklaces/Keychains/Tie Bars/Money Clips/Barrettes, Repurpose Silverware into Heirloom Gifts

Wondering what to do with Grandma's heirloom vintage silverplated silverware? How about transforming it into necklaces or keychains for family members to share in this piece of family history? I can also make them into hair barrettes, money clips or tie bars. Why get rid of unused antique silverware when it can be repurposed, preserved, and shared?

After verifying your pieces are silverplated and looking at your photos, I can take forks and/or spoons that you ship to me and turn them into necklaces, keychains, or other items like the examples pictured.

➽🌟➽🌟➽ Please message me with clear photos of both the front AND back (mainly the words/images/dates) of the silverware. I only work with silverplated silverware, not stainless steel.

➽ If you are interested in converting a large quantity of silverware pieces into jewelry/accessories, please message me about a custom listing. I do offer volume discounts. I have done small jobs ranging from a few pieces of silverware all the way up to large jobs involving as many as 93 total pieces (for a sorority).

DETAILS:

★ The silverware handle pendant necklace includes a 20-inch silverplated cable chain. If you would prefer a different style of chain or no chain, please message me about a custom listing.
★ The keychain includes a 1.125" (1-1/8") silver tone steel key ring.
★ Silverware handles used for barrettes must be at least 0.75" (3/4") wide. Otherwise the metal barrette will be visible along the sides of the silverware handle.
★ If the silverware sent for a tie bar or money clip cannot be bent, I can make it into a keychain instead or simply return the cut pieces of the silverware to you. I will first attempt to bend the whole fork or spoon, if possible, prior to cutting pieces intended to make tie bars or money clips.
★ Some pieces of vintage silverplated silverware are brittle and do break due to their age even when bent carefully, so I end up drilling those (e.g., necklaces and keychains). Silverplated pieces that turn out be too hard to bend will also get a hole drilled instead (e.g., necklaces and keychains).
★ I do not work with stainless steel silverware for making jewelry/accessories.
★ I do not currently offer rings, earrings, or bracelets.
★ I do not work on dinner knives or other silverware pieces currently. I only accept spoons or forks for this listing. If you have other pieces you want to preserve, please message me.

➽➽➽ Production time on these orders will depend in part on how long it takes to receive the silverware shipped from you, as well as how long it takes to finalize the listing (including examining photos of the silverware and the markings on the backs of the pieces to ensure they are silverplated), and how many pieces of silverware are involved in the order.

➽➽➽ This order will be shipped via USPS Ground Advantage (3-7 days typical delivery AFTER production) OR via USPS Priority Mail Small Flat Rate box (1-4 days typical delivery AFTER production). Both shipping options come with USPS Tracking™. Shipping charges will depend on how many pieces of silverware are being repurposed.

➽➽➽ Unless instructed otherwise, I will polish your silverware pieces. However, vintage silverware will still show its age through nicks, dents, dings, scratches, and plate wear (which I cannot correct). Vintage silverplated silverware will also continue to tarnish over time and require gentle polishing.

- Avoid contact with water – do not shower with OR swim with your keychains, pendants, jewelry, or other items created by AmySueCrafts; chlorine and other chemicals in water can damage, discolor, and/or destroy your handcrafted items
- In addition, keep resin-based items (e.g., music cufflinks, resin flower pendants, etc.) away from extended exposure to direct sunlight and high temperatures

✔ Each hand-stamped item is stamped by me, by hand, using a hammer -- one letter/number/character/symbol at a time -- so the letters/characters/numbers may not be perfectly lined up, which only adds to the charming, rustic appeal of an item. No two will ever look the same!

✔ PLEASE be certain to provide me with ALL requested customization details at Checkout. Failure to do so can result in shipping delays which are beyond my control per my policies. If I need to follow up via convos and/or emails to gather missing custom details, your response time will determine when your item is able to be created. Thanks for understanding.

✔ If you need RUSH Order Processing (for an extra fee) to create your item faster than the standard production time listed above, please convo me prior to ordering.

✔ I ship ALL items with USPS Tracking™ (formerly called "Delivery Confirmation") which means I ***CANNOT*** ship anything by regular USPS First Class Mail; it must be sent as a USPS First Class Parcel to qualify for USPS Tracking™. This is slightly more expensive for very small, flat items, but the tracking information provides you with proof that I shipped the package and proof of delivery.
