Seller's description
The Great Parade tarot by Ian Cumpstey, 2024 (green) edition
A pack of 78 tarot cards with imagery closely following early Italian tarot.
The cards are text-free, so the cards work on a visual level - the imagery is clear and easy to recognise and interpret.
The illustrations are reminiscent of the Tarot de Marseille woodcut style. But the imagery of the trump cards is based on early Italian tarot. You may see influences from Bolognese tarocchini, the handmade luxury "Charles VI" tarot, the Rosenwald tarot, Florentine minchiate, etc.
I drew the original line artwork with pen and ink at the same size as it appears on the final printed cards.
The cards are printed at a size of 62 x 100 mm on smooth black-core playing card stock. The cards are delivered in a custom printed tuck box.
A perfect choice for tarot readers, players of tarot games, and card collectors.

Summarized by AI
“These cards are very cool. I love the way they feel, and the size is pretty unique. I like cards that aren’t that big, and these are just a few millimeters more than a poker card. The card stock quality is so unique as well! I think I have felt the card stock before, but I can’t think of anything to compare it to. Anyway I love these cards. I love that there’s no words or numbers written anywhere. The exchange rate isn’t great, but I’ll be back as a customer for sure.”
