CARE
- Hand-wash in cool water, no warmer than 30 C / 86 F, with a little cashmere or delicate-wash shampoo, or dry-clean. Do not rub, wring or twist.
- Press the water out between two towels, then dry flat away from direct heat and sun, reshaping while damp. Never hang a wet piece.
- Roll to store rather than fold. Rolling a woven piece avoids a permanent crease along the fold line.
- Steam from about six inches to release creases. Do not iron directly onto the fibre.
- Pills are normal on a natural yarn. Lift them with a cashmere comb, not a battery fabric shaver, which cuts the surface and thins the knit.
- Never tumble dry, bleach, or use fabric softener. Softener coats the fibre and flattens the loft that makes cashmere warm.
