Since signature on delivery is mandatory, if the recipient isn't home to receive the order, local post offices hold order packages for a week or so before sending it back to us. If an order is sent back to us, we won't be able to give you a refund, and will send it back only once you pay for shipping.

The ship by date is the date it will ship out the latest unless we have changed that due to special requests from buyer, or we have informed you that we will be shipping out later. The ship by date is NOT the date it will arrive to your home. Just want to clarify that as there has been much confusion. Also please understand that we have every intent to ship out on time but shipping from India has its disadvantages, there are times our PO has no electricity, there are Holidays that pop up out of nowhere, as they are based on a Lunar calendar not on a Roman calendar so we may find out that we get to the PO and its closed due to some Holiday or that they have no electricity, rest assured we will ship it the next available date.

My shipping costs seem high??

Certain items we can ship easily via post and if it calculates to high we do refund overage. Other times higher value and higher weight boxes will ship via courier, again if it comes to less then we will happily refund overcharges. So if you are seeing a high shipping cost contact us with your full order and destination and deadline if there is one, we will give you options in pricing if there is any available. we are super easy to work with just ask! But please remember this is shipping internationally from India, we do our best to keep shipping costs as low as possible, but they are not free and that is why we don't offer free shipping.

Will you ship to all countries?

Yes ,most countries we have no problem shipping too and it gets there in a timely manner. However African and Latin America countries please contact us first. These countries are difficult to ship to and require tracking which is more expensive then standard shipping.

Why is my purchased product colours different from webshop?

We try our best to take photos of products in a real-life like situations. We want actual products to look more and more similar to what you have seen on the product page/website. We do most of the photos in controlled light without much equipment...we do not photoshop. There are times when a camera or a computer monitor can't match perspective of an eye. Slight difference is unavoidable. Also, with some products which involve handmade printing processes, there are chances of difference in color from the image you have seen. We would request you to consider that before you go shopping.

What if I don't like your product after receiving?

when you see the product in your hand and are not happy enough with your purchase, just mail us at globalvillagerhandmade@gmail.com and we can arrange a refund/replacement for you.( products on sale won't be replaced or returned) If you do have some ideas to make our photographs better for good you can mail your suggestions with product links directly to globalvillagerhandmade@gmail.com We'll be happy to hear from you for best :)

How fast will my order arrive?

If shipping via post from India it takes 2-4 weeks to most countries, some countries your postal service is a bit slower and you can expect at least 6 weeks. If you want faster shipping then please contact us with your desired order in full, where its shipping too, and your deadline. we can then weigh it properly and and give you a courier price that can take express 3-5 days or normal courier 8-10 days and price accordingly.

Shipping and Tracking Updates

Your order status is updated as soon as your order reaches the main post office and not when it leaves our studio. We dispatch orders from our end within 1-3 business days, it takes 2-3 days for orders to reach the main post office.
