Black Beaded Choker Necklace: Dandelion Charm, Adjustable, Sally Owens, Practical magic

When the wind is warm and the crickets sing, I dream of a love that even time will lie down and be still for... - Sally Owen.

*The Dandelion seed is a symbol of magic all on its own. Have you ever picked the fluffy white ball of fluff and made a wish as you blew the seeds away? That’s magic! Blowing the seeds away can be used for a multitude of purposes. Dandelion seeds are a symbol of abundance. Other magickal properties of the Dandelion seed include Sun Magick, Courage, Bravery, Growth and Transformation. These flowers are strong and robust, they mean serious business and spring up in the most interesting of places. They are also a member of the sunflower family “Taraxacum Officinale”. This gives them strong solar magic. However, once the seeds bloom it contains Lunar energy. The white puff ball resembles the full moon. Dandelion’s are capable of producing 5,000 seeds per year. Relating them back to abundance. The dandelion is one of the world’s most widespread plant. This persistent rebel plant offers many powerful healing gifts. The stem, flower, roots, and seeds are all edible. Though I suggest speaking to a health care provider before ingesting anything. You can make dandelion tea, in fact dandelions are one of the highest sources of Vitamin among the culinary herbs. You can connect with solar deities such as Belenos, Brigid and even Hecate, as well as many others, when incorporating the Dandelion in your practice.

Dandelion magic is a great way to connect to Litha “Summer Solstice”. Celebrate the beginning of summer. The dandelion and its bright yellow are a reminder of its connection to the sun and the summer days. The sun is at the height of its power. Lean into the pure joy of the season, enjoying the buzzing of the bees, signing birds, and flowers in full bloom. Now is the time to bring you goals and dreams into manifestation. These bright flowers are also key to the pollinator. Create your own summer magic with these amazing little lions.

Dandelion comes from the French. When translated from French “dent-de-lion” it means “lions’ tooth”.
