Coastal Decor Set Blue White Navy Lobster Buoy Nautical Vintage Style Wooden by SEASTYLE
SEASTYLE collects vintage nautical items and creates vintage-inspired coastal home decor.
Inspired by beauty and diversity of vintage lobster buoys used by fishermen to secure their traps,
we created a collection of different vintage style handmade items that look authentic and chic.
This set of two handmade wooden vintage style lobster buoys has lots of character and
is wonderful for display.
Made out of solid wood, hand painted and distressed to look like actual vintage.
The buoys have weathered look, including split wood, paint chipping and marks, that only
add to their charm.
The materials are:

- The big measures 11" tall, 3.7x3.7 wide and deep
- The small is 8" tall, 3" wide, 3" deep.
- Outdoor / Indoor
- Weight 3,5-4 lb
The set looks great on a fireplace mantel, side tables, or office desk.
A bit of a History about Lobster Buoys.
Each fisherman had their own colors to mark their traps or nets.
Bright buoys marking the locations of lobster traps have been an iconic piece of maritime culture dating to the late 1800s, when trapping became a common method of lobstering. To distinguish one lobsterman's traps from others, it became tradition—and then law—to paint buoys a unique pattern and color scheme. They became essential for beach house decor, used as doorstops, centerpieces, hanging displays, and more.

I love these adds a little color to the room very beachy
I can't say enough about how much I REALLY like these! They are going to our beach home in St. Thomas and are going to work perfectly to create a "non-literal" coastal design in our space. The colors are just perfect and the weight is nice and solid feeling. The only thing that I will try to change or rework are the ropes, as they are new, for obvious reasons. I think I can age them some or find suitable replacements if it feels better in the space. Highly recommend!
