Stamped "MADE IN FRANCE" and almost certainly manufactured by Mauviel in Villedieu-les-Poêles, these beautiful, high quality, copper tapered Windsor pans, in 2.8mm copper for the 22cm and 2mm copper for the 16cm pan, have wonderful weight and quality. The pans have been re-tinned using the traditional hand wiped method using 100% food safe tin and are ready for use. A stunning pair of quality French copper cookware from one of the master manufacturers and a wonderful addition to any kitchen.
Condition:
The pans are in generally very good condition for their age. The beautiful hand made copper is in generally very good condition, with only very light surface scratching, pitting and tarnishing, due to age, cleaning and use. The base of the pans do have slightly heavier pitting, scratching and tarnishing, due to age, cleaning and use. The beautiful, high quality, heavy, cast iron handle are firmly fixed to the pans via 3 very large, high quality, copper rivets. The pans have been re-tinned using the traditional hand wiped method using 100% food safe tin and are ready for use.
