IMPORTANT 1:
If you are going to mount the shelf to a lightweight drywall (plasterboard wall), remember two things:
1. Only mount the shelf to a wooden frame that is inside the wall. The shelf has fasteners spaced 16 inches apart, which matches the typical distance between studs in the wall. DO NOT mount the shelf directly to the drywall that is between the wooden studs, because the shelf will fall off the wall sooner or later. The lightweight drywall is NOT designed to withstand the weight (which occurs when a cat jumps on or stands on the shelf).
2. Please indicate in the order notes that you intend to mount the shelf on a lightweight drywall partition. In that case, you will receive wood screws specifically designed for attaching the shelf to the wooden studs inside the wall. Otherwise, you will receive screws and wall plugs designed for mounting the shelf on solid materials such as brick, concrete, or aerated concrete.

beautiful comfy shelf for my cats. very sturdy with good fixings. excellent quality. one week later i got a bill for £48.40 from fedEx delivery company for Duty and Tax invoice was very unhappy as this is the first time that i have been charged on anything that i have bought on etsy like this . So beware of extra charges on already expensive items.

I could’ve not asked for a better experience, purchasing an item from Etsy. It arrived all the way from Poland remarkably quickly, perfectly communicated by the seller, exactly as advertised, beautiful and very well-crafted. It is thoughtfully designed and structurally sound, and came with all the parts. Straightforward to install, it looks fantastic on our wall. It supports our cat, with its cleverly hidden brackets. This excellent addition to our recently renovated den adds a touch of class to a cat friendly space. I pre-drilled holes in the standard 16” on-center studs of my 1980’ s built wall, for the three 8mm lag bolts provided, using a 7/32” drill-bit and used 13mm ratcheting box wrench to tighten the bolts in. No problems at all. For me, the the installation took about 15-20 minutes total to get it perfect.
