MTG Commander Deck Box & Press Kit: Double-Sleeved Card Storage

The purpose of this is to flatten freshly double-sleeved commander decks that trap air during the sleeving process. This tends to cause the cards to fall over when playing and makes the deck harder to shuffle. By pressing it lightly into this vise, it allows for the sleeves to let go of the air and lose their curvature causing the issues mentioned above. Many people use books to flatten their decks, but this can get messy fast while taking surface area for a day or so. Using this simpler method, you can apply a fair amount of "weight" without risking the cards to fall over and become damaged. Although it didn't occur so far during testing, you can add a couple of low-value cards on top if you are worried about damaging the cards during pressing.

INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Insert freshly sleeved cards into the box face side down
2. Add the plastic card on top (flat side down)
3. Insert the threaded lid with the screw fully out
4. Tighten the vise screw until a slight gap is formed at between the lid and the box to indicate maximum pressure is applied. Do not overtighten.

- tray that replaces the plastic "card" that presses the deck in the same manner, but the tray has to benefit of being more stable during pressing. Once your deck is flat, you can use the tray to store dice, counters and other trinkets
