Seller's description

Specifications

May include: A black and brass adjustable wall lamp with a gold-colored dome shade. The lamp has a black cord and a brass switch.

The boom lamp has been an industrial classic for more than a century, and for good reason - they are beautiful to look at, and just plain useful! My handmade versions update this iconic form in modern materials and finishes. An elegant addition to your space that provides light right where you need it!

This articulating boom lamp can be mounted to a wall, desk, headboard, etc., or hardwired. The black powder coated arms measure 18" and 24" as pictured, or choose the 24"/30" length. The joints are solid brass and allow the light to articulate fully. The socket is brand new, solid brass, and U.L. rated. The parabolic shade is also solid brass.

Each light is wired with twisted black cloth covered cord and a quality black phenolic plug. There is a rotary on/off switch located on the socket. Accepts a standard light bulb (E26 socket.) A light bulb is not included unless you are located in California (California orders ship with a CFL bulb.)

The socket and wire are rated for 240V, so this light will work internationally with a change of plug or adapter.

The dimmer versions are built with a dimmer insert inside the socket. The dimmer inserts are rated for US 120V supply only - they will not work with 240V.

The hardwired version comes with an integral 5" wide x 1" deep cylindrical brass wall plate (instead of the pronged wall flange.)

These extension lamps are extremely versatile – install one or a pair in your living or reading area, or as a bedside lamp! They can be posed many different ways and provide excellent illumination. Form and function combined, in a refined take on industrial style!
