A handmade Longquan celadon tea canister with a lotus relief carving and an airtight lid lined with fabric to preserve aroma.
The body is softly rounded and carved by hand with a lotus motif — a classic symbol in Chinese ceramic tradition. The sage-green celadon glaze develops naturally in high-temperature firing, giving each piece its own depth of color. No two are exactly the same.
Made in Longquan, Zhejiang, using techniques recognized as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage.

Longquan celadon has been produced in Zhejiang Province since the Song Dynasty — over a thousand years of kiln tradition. The lotus carving is done by hand before firing; the fabric-lined lid creates an airtight seal that keeps loose leaf tea fresh. Because every piece is handmade, slight variations in glaze tone and carving depth are natural and part of what makes each canister unique.
