This mens necklace is made of turquoise & obsidian. It has 2 turquoise skulls touching head to head at the center. The necklace is finished with 2 small pieces of lava rock at each end and has a silver toggle closure.

When I made this piece I chose materials from my culture that gave it a specific meaning. This necklace carries with it the intention of balance and seeking & speaking in truth.

In Mexico the skulls are used to represent your ancestors. The skulls are a way to remember your people and acknowledge your connection to them and your history. These 2 skulls are touching head to head symbolizing universal connection and balance.

Obsidian is dense volcanic glass and in the Mexica tradition it represents seeking and speaking truth.

Every piece of jewelry I make for myself is finished with a lava rock and 3 pieces of turquoise at the end of each strand.

The Mexica acknowledge lava rocks as our ancestors. They remind us of the knowledge and wisdom that our ancestors carried which we also carry as we are connected to them.

Turquoise is a protective stone that protects against energy that does not belong to you.
This necklace is also finished with lava rock and turquoise, sharing with you the intention of the strength and wisdom of your ancestors.

Measurements:
This piece measures 18.5" not including the clasp.
The necklace has a nice silver toggle clasp. It is alloy, lead free and does not discolor.
***Sterling silver lobster clasp available on this piece. If you would like the sterling silver lobster clasp instead of the toggle clasp shown, please purchase the lobster clasp in my store and I will make your necklace with the clasp.
