This pinafore dress pattern includes 2 versions:
Version A: With a waistband.
Version B: Slightly longer with fake flap pockets.
Both versions are compressed into a single ZIP file, containing 6 PDFs: the pattern in A4/Us-Letter for All Sizes, Size 32-38 and Size 40-46, in A0 and detailed sewing instructions. The pattern can be printed at home and assembled by aligning the diamond markers at the edges of the pages— trim the pages according o the instructions. Choose the PDF that matches your paper size (A4, A0, or US Letter). Alternatively, you can use a projector or have the A0 format printed at a copy shop.
Materials Needed:
Main fabric: For Version A, I used heavy jersey fabric with minimal stretch. For Version B, I used heavy corduroy fabric. Use woven or medium-to-heavy weight fabrics with 2% - 5% stretch. Non-stretch materials can also be used, but due to the tight fit in the bust area, sizing up may be necessary.
Interfacing: For the neckline and armholes (depends on material).
Matching thread
Invisible zipper: 60 cm (≈23.6 inches) for the back.
MOCK-UP IS A MUST! As fabric behaviors and body shapes vary, a mock-up is essential for ensuring the perfect fit. I wear a size M (38) and am 165 cm tall; use this as a reference when choosing your size.
Instructions & Tips:
The dress is designed with a fitted bust. Ensure your fabric choice and sizing align with your needs.
Ensure your printer is set to 100% scale (not “fit to page”) and use the control square on page 1 to confirm correct scaling.

How to Download After Purchasing:

What a fantastic pattern and so simple to make! I made version B from an old curtain (cotton poly blend with no stretch), made the lining in the same fabric, and closed off the armholes with bias tape. I did this rather than use the facings because my fabric was a little see-through, and also because I wanted a dress that could be worn during the colder months. Overall I am very happy with this item. The pattern worked great, the instructions were clear, and the video was also very detailed. I highly recommend!!

Nice sewing pattern, the video instruction is sometimes a bit hard to see, because of the lightning, but everything is explained in a depth that is understandable and good to follow (I'm a beginner at sewing)
