Staples or Walmart are places in Canada that may be available locally at a more affordable rate and also have an online option.

I'm in the US, where do you recommend I get my files printed?

If you are planning on using an online service, I recommend the following options: Finerworks.com Persnicketyprints.com Framebridge.com Mixbook.com Shutterfly.com They will print your files and frame them for you as well. Mind you it may be cheaper to frame them yourself… Most of these sites have sales - look for coupon codes to save on the cost of printing. Places in the U.S. that may be available to you locally are Staples, Walgreens, FedEx, Kinko's, Costco, Walmart, etc., will all print your files for you too.

What kind of paper should I use to print my files?

When choosing a paper to print on this is really a personal choice, but I tend to prefer heavyweight matte paper for my fine art prints. Many office supply stores offer high-quality heavyweight matte photo paper that will work well. You can also use satin, semi-gloss or glossy paper for your prints; however, when going with photo paper my personal preference is a matte option.

Printing at home or at the office?

I recommend using smooth cardstock or heavyweight photo paper for your prints - glossy, semi-gloss, satin or matte selections are matters of personal preference. When printing your files, be sure your printer's settings are set to print at "original size" or 100% to ensure proper sizing. If there's a "quality" setting, select the highest available. In the paper selection option, select the appropriate option for your selected paper.

What is a zip file? How do I unzip?

A .zip file is a common file format that's used to compress one or more files together into a single location. This reduces file size and makes it easier to share. To unzip a file, just double click on your computer, or use a online site on your phone https://extract.me

How do Ratios work? What sizes are included?

I offer prints in various aspect ratios, and each order includes the largest file size for every ratio to accommodate your preferences. Here are the available ratios and their corresponding sizes: RATIO 2:3 - 4"x6” | 8x12” | 12x18” | 16x24” | 20x30” RATIO 3:4 - 6"x8” | 9x12” | 12x16” | 15x20” | 18x24” RATIO 4:5 - 4"x5” | 8x10” | 12x15” | 16x20” RATIO 5:7 - 5"x7” | 20"x28" Bonus: 11"x14" For example, if you need to print by 8”x10”, you may use the 16”x20” file.

A print is missing from my purchase, where can I find it?

Due to Etsy file size and upload limitations, I often combine prints into separate folders. To download all prints, make sure to open and unzip all files included with your purchase. In some listings, the file size is too large to include, therefore I included a PDF with a link to the larger files.

The printer/store I'd like to print this at says this file type is not accepted. What do I do?

Getting the right file type for your printing needs is a simple process. Just reach out to me and I will promptly send you the acceptable file type. Different printing businesses often require different file types. For example, there are printers that use offset printers and require PDF files and given PDF files, file sizes are much too large to include in an instant download. If you need a different file, I will gladly accommodate you!
