Dyneema Backpacking Trowel Bag - Ultralight Shovel Sheath

The build quality and materials are top notch. I have no complaints about the quality of the product. Unfortunately I’m not sure I’ll be able to use it as I’d hoped. I carry a larger than average trowel (pact brand) and was hoping to fit the trowel, TP, hand sanitizer, and a couple compressible wipes in the pouch. Sadly, I’m struggling to get it all to fit comfortably in any combination of ways. At the time of ordering, the large size was not available in blue which is what I wanted in order to match all of my other dyneema products. I should have sprung for the larger size in a different color to give me a little more space. All that said, I’m taking it out on a hike this week and think it’ll still work well enough. I may just need to keep a little extra TP in my pack to refill with.

Item is exactly as described. An excellent Etsy vendor.

I got the small trowel sheath which is a completely unnecessary bit of gear that is thoroughly satisfying to have. It replaces a couple of messy ziplocks and perfectly holds my small trowel and some TP in a compact package that I can toss into the outer mesh pocket of my pack. The trowel stays put in a material that sheds dirt and doesn't puncture. The handle stays clean. Thanks for the clever design!
