This item is part of our bookscape range, which captures the essence of the book in a recognisable statement print. Each book poster is our own vibrant retelling of a timeless classic. We draw on key themes of the original text through eye-catching designs embellished with one of our unique subtitles to accompany and contextualise the print.

Prints can always be customised to remove the text or enlarge the image to page size upon request.

This 1984 design is titled Becoming Conscious

We have wanted a 1984 design for years. All previous attempts were either too appropriately bleak to be nice decor or borrowed too much from iconography that wasn't really our own (think the classic iconography of an INGSOC eye). Now, we finally have a design we are pleased with, inspired by a more mid-century sci-fi abstract art style, reflecting the "becoming conscious" theme of the original text.
