Pair of XL 60 cl / 20 fl oz Tanqueray Etched Green Stem Gin Goblets with White Lettering.

Set of 2 rare extra large 60 cl gin glasses with green stem and base, and a clear balloon bowl etched with the word 'Tanqueray' in white lettering followed by a period. The base is a dark green that graduates in color to a lighter emerald green stem. Older vintage Tanqueray glasses have white lettering followed by a period. Modern newer Tanqueray glasses have black lettering and no period.

Tanqueray is an English brand of gin, developed in the 1830s by Charles Tanqueray at his Vine Street distillery in Bloomsbury, England. Tanqueray led the way in the gin category for nearly 200 years with a unique full bodied and smooth gin with a strong hint of Juniper. Tanqueray had over 300 recipes of botanically spiced gins.

Glasses are in very good vintage condition with minimal traces of use. Glasses have some very minimal paint loss spots on the base which are only visible upon close inspection and when held to light.
