Our farm-to-table philosophy extends to our newest creation – a luxurious Tallow Lotion made with self-rendered tallow from our pasture-raised beef.

Why Tallow?

Tallow is a natural, time-tested ingredient making a comeback in skincare. Rich in vitamins and fatty acids, it offers exceptional nourishment for your skin. Sourcing high-quality tallow can be difficult, but our farm provides the unique advantage of using tallow directly from our own livestock.

Rendering tallow requires dedication, but the result is a product worth celebrating. While the raw tallow has a distinct scent, the final lotion is incredibly gentle and deeply moisturizing.

Our Story: From Daughter's Need to Farm-Fresh Solution:

It all began with a marathon-running daughter in need. A life-changing lotion from another farmer became her post-race recovery staple, but sadly, the maker stopped producing it.

Determined to find a solution, we delved into the science of skincare. We discovered the amazing properties of goat milk for skin health and the crucial role of lactic acid (not the mint!) in muscle recovery.

Our journey of crafting the perfect lotion was not without its challenges. Through research and experimentation (and perhaps more about goat milk than we ever anticipated!), we perfected a creamy, thick, and incredibly effective lotion.

The Milking Mishap:

Creating this lotion wasn't all smooth sailing! The task of milking the goats (a hilarious memory for my husband) highlighted the importance of raising healthy goats for fresh milk, a vital ingredient in our product.

Contains- Water, Raw Goats Milk, self rendered Tallow (contains NO bleaches or deodorants), Optiphen, plant based emulsifying wax.

Natural & Preservative-Free Commitment:

To ensure product safety and quality, we use Optiphen - a paraben and formaldehyde-free preservative ideal for milk-based products.
