This made-in-the-USA cotton twill tape is 1/2" (13mm) wide, has a herringbone pattern and a natural, ivory color. The tape is unbleached, has no sizing, and is suitable for archival purposes (it will pass an Oddy test). It is lightweight and the surface is fairly smooth, making it suitable for stamping or printing.

+++ This tape, along with the 3/8 inch and 1/2 inch heavyweight tapes in my shop, is suitable for ties for homemade face masks. It can withstand hot water wash and high heat dry, but it will shrink, so wash it before you start cutting & sewing. +++


Twill tape is useful for many things:
• ties for face masks
• homespun ribbon for your homemade projects
• drawstring bag closures
• stay tape or stabilizer for necklines, armholes, and hems

You get a 5, 10, 25, or 50 yard cut of tape, or a full roll of 72 yards. If you need a longer length, please convo me to set up a custom listing. If you order a multiple quantity, I will ship it in one continuous piece, unless you request it in separate pieces. For example, if you select 2 10-yards, I will ship a 20 yard piece. If you want separate pieces, please make a note in the order.
