Quirky Medieval Sun iPhone MagSafe Case: Boho Art Design for models 14 - 17

iPhone case with quirky design. You won't see this on everybody else's phone! It's a little known fact that in 1582, when this work was painted, the sun had a face. So now you can let your phone show you and your friends the historical fact of what the sun used to look like! So amazing (and so much fun)!

--- MAGSAFE ---
The case is designed for "MagSafe" iPhone models 14 and above because it has a magnetic metal ring on the inside. Not only does wireless charging work perfectly, but also the force of the iPhone's built-in magnet is preserved. You can easily mount your phone inside the case to a vertical charging stand, for example, held up solely by magnetic force. Or attach a MagSafe backup battery, or MagSafe wallet, etc.

--- THE PHYSICAL CASE ---
The printed part of the case is polycarbonate with a smooth, matte finish; the unprinted outer edges, made of polyurethane, are clear and grippy. Because the back and sides join at a seam, you might think that the design is a decal -- but it is not; the printing is done directly onto the case with a UV printer and is very durable.

--- COLORS ---
The cases are originally transparent. Dark color designs hide the magnetic ring inside. Light colors will, however, leave the ring slightly visible even though the images you see here on Etsy do not show that.

--- CLEANING ---
To clean the case rub gently in a circular motion with a soft cloth dampened with water. If necessary, add a little mild soap to the water used to dampen the cloth, and follow with a water-only dampened cloth to wipe away the soap. Then let the case air-dry at room temperature. NEVER USE ALCOHOL or other solvents, or abrasive cleaners.

--- PRODUCTION AND SHIPPING ---
The printing and shipping of the case is done by a company called "Printful." They make each case individually for each order. Typical production time is 2 to 5 business days, followed by a shipping time of 2 to 5 business days in the U.S. (may be longer for shipping outside the U.S.). The case is MADE TO ORDER, and delays can sometimes happen, so please allow an overall average of 4 to 10 business days for the U.S. (7 to 14 business days for the U.K.) for it to arrive at your door. Don't worry: it's worth it!

--- MY VALUE ADDED ---
Very few art works come in the proportions of an iPhone. Besides, many art works feature a central figure or subject matter that would be obscured by the newer phones' huge camera openings. Finally, many really old images are faded or discolored or chipped or otherwise very imperfect. To avoid those problems, and ensure that all my cases look really great, I carefully select and curate images in the first place, and then do a LOT of PhotoShop editing re-arranging, and general image clean-up. In short: You may think you're just seeing public domain images slapped onto phone cases, but that's FAR from what's going on!

The design draws on public domain imagery that I have selected, arranged, cropped, cleaned up, edited, and resized -- all to look "right" on the tall and narrow shape of an iPhone case; then adjusted for tone, saturation, brightness, contrast, and sharpness.
