Vintage wooden pair of grinders or salt & pepper grinder. These are in a beautiful dumbbell shape and in a great quality. They are by Nissen and they are sturdy and have some weight to them.
To fill them with pepper corns / coarse salt, unscrew the metal part at the bottom and remove the grinding mechanism.
They are marked: "Nissen made in Denmark, by Bodum design". I'm not sure what kind of wood they are made of. Maybe birch?
You get a pair. I have two pairs available.

3 1/2 inches / 8,5 cm in diameter at the widest point
4 1/2 inches / 11 cm in height
They are in good vintage condition with some signs from use on the wood. The grinders work perfectly. There is some residue from salt on the screw at the bottom. Please take a look at the photos.
