Vintage 1970s Carlton Walking Ware salt and pepper shaker set.

Made in England in 1973 by Lustre Pottery, and hand painted.

The Walking Ware series was designed by Roger Michell of England.

In perfect condition, no crazing on surface.

The first Carlton Walking Ware was designed and made in 1973, and produced from 1974 to 1986.

The idea saw two little legs added to the items with brightly colored Mary Jane shoes and equally vibrant socks.

This set has rose-colored shoes and striped white socks.
