Standard DTF Transfer Printing Instructions:

Process 1:
Pre-Press the T-Shirt or Other Fabric
Pre-press to remove wrinkles.
Pre-pressing also helps eliminate moisture from the material.
Pre-press at 300°F for 3–5 seconds.

Process 2: Applying the DTF Transfer
The direct film transfer does not need to be used immediately.
Place the image face-up (white backing will touch the fabric).
Heat press at 300°F for 10–12 seconds with medium pressure (60 psi).
For 100% polyester, use 285°F.
For delicate fabrics, reduce the temperature to as low as 260°F.

Process 3: Peeling the DTF Transfer
**Instant Peel DTF is a HOT PEEL process. (Hot Peel or Cold Pell)
Some heat presses may not be calibrated correctly. If the temperature is too high (above 320°F), it may cause issues where the coating bonds to the ink instead of the fabric.
If you have trouble peeling the transfer, lower the temperature to 260–285°F.
If peeling issues persist, allow the transfer to cool completely before peeling.

Process 4: Post-Pressing the Direct Film
This step is essential for every garment application.
Cover the print and press again for 4–5 seconds.
Enhances the durability and washability of the print.
Additional Notes:

***Unlike sublimation, DTF allows printing on a wider variety of fabrics.
Produces high-quality transfers that can be applied to almost any fabric.
Standard DTF transfers work well with Cricut Easy Press or other handheld presses. However, you may need to press for at least 30 seconds and use as much pressure as possible. Specialty films may face challenges with handheld presses and require a regular heat press for proper transfer.
