A Mjoinir for the man who likes his jewelry plain and simple, unadorned except for sculpted ridges and textured surfaces. This Norse hammer is cast in solid bronze with an oxidized finish that gives it tons of rugged texture. This Thor's Hammer pendant is completely 3D and finished on all sides. It measures 1" long by 11/16" across and over 1/4"thick on the face of the hammer. The chain passes directly through the pommel of the hammer eliminated the need for a bail or jump ring, again plain and simple. Also available in sterling silver plated white bronze

The Viking god Thor owned a short-handled hammer, which, when thrown at a target, returned magically to its owner. His hammer also had the power to throw lightning bolts. To wield his hammer, Thor wore the a magical belt, which boosted the wearer's strength and a pair of special iron gloves, to lift the hammer. The hammer was also his main weapon when fighting giants. The uniquely shaped symbol subsequently became a very popular ornament during the Viking Age and has since become an iconic symbol of Germanic paganism.
