Based on a pigment now out of production for some years. Its deep russet tone and its wonderful transparency make it a unique autumn hue.

Quinacridone Russet is made with my artisanal binder based on Kordofan arabic gum, local bio honey, vegetal glycerin and natural clove oil as preservative.

I chose only the best mineral, natural and historycal syntetics 100% pure pigments from all over the world, produced according to traditional recipes. All my watercolors are hand mulled and i create them in small quantities to to ensure the best quality of each paints.

Beautiful color, rewets easily, mass tone on paper is gloopy and streaky. Doesn’t flow well without a lot of water. Definitely transparent, non-granulating.
