Highlights

  • Materials: Bamboo Embroidery Hoop, Acrylic Yarn, Plastic Needles, Burlap, Cardboard Bobbins

These Kids Beginner Sewing Kits are perfect for children that are interested in sewing and embroidery, but are not quite ready for the real thing. This is a great activity for Montessori style learning, homeschool, preschool, or just for fun! These kits allow kids to explore their creative side while working on hand-eye coordination and the concept of embroidery. And when they are finished, they have a fun ice cream craft to display!

Each kit includes:

One 6 inch wooden embroidery hoop
One piece of burlap (secured on the hoop with the design drawn on)
One plastic needle (2.5 inch)
Five different colors of acrylic yarn on bobbins (each measuring ~6 feet)
One easy to follow instruction sheet on how to sew a back stitch

The yarn will come in the colors pictured. Please feel free to send me a message with the child's preferred colors and I will do my best to accommodate, if inventory allows!

**This kit is only meant to be used under direct adult supervision**

Perfect gift- this is a great, true beginning kit with thicker yarn, an easy stitch, and a blunt needle. I actually just came back to order more for my own kids!

My niece loved these. She is 6 and was able to complete it independently. Great way to stear embroidery.
