Custom Orders/ Design Changes

Custom orders are not accepted. Requests to recreate or closely imitate designs from other shops will not be accepted, as DASH OF JAPAN values original creative work and respects fellow artists.

Cancellations may be possible before production and shipping preparation begin. If you need to request a cancellation, please contact us as soon as possible. If a cancellation is approved, Etsy will automatically issue a refund to your original payment method.

Are Mizuhiki jewelry water-resistant?

No, our jewelry are not water-resistant. While mizuhiki is a surprisingly durable material, we intentionally do not apply any coating in order to preserve its natural color and texture. As a result, the jewelry is not waterproof. Mizuhiki is made from paper, so exposure to water may cause it to lose its shape or change color. Please avoid getting it wet. If it does come into contact with water, gently blot it with a dry towel and allow it to air dry in the shade.
