Who Pays For Customs Fees?

This dreamy antique Edwardian lawn dress dates to around 1905-1910. It is made of a soft white featherweight semi-sheer cotton batiste fabric with gorgeous raised embroidery work of heart shapes, floral details, and dot clusters. It drapes beautifully on the full skirt, with pin tucks radiating from the waist.
The bodice of the dress has the classic pigeon-front Gibson Girl silhouette, with pretty scalloped edging framing the neckline and elbow length sleeves with beautiful wide embroidered cuffs and pintucks. Each shoulder is adorned with a wider coordinating insertion lace that runs down to the sleeve cuff. The waistline is defined by a wide waistband with pintucks.
The dress closes at the center back with hook and eyes down to the hipline. The full, beautiful skirt has vertical pleating all around the hips, tapering up to the waist. The lower half of the skirt features the beautiful embroidery designs and scalloped hem. A very stunning dress from the early 1900s, with some very unique details and gorgeous, one of a kind embroidery!

-Due to the age of the garment, the utmost care and delicacy is advised should you choose to wear this dress. Best Recommended for display and study.-

Condition: Good Antique Condition. This dress is in good overall condition, but does have some minor flaws/repairs. Since the fabric is very fine and sheer, it is more delicate and requires gentle, careful handling. There are a few areas of the embroidery where the thread work is gone, most noticeable on the front bodice right near the center, and a few areas along the back and side of the lower skirt. Any loose thread work that it had has now been repaired. There are small scattered pin holes throughout. On the back upper left of the skirt between the pintucks, there are two areas of mending. Some mending on the neckline as well. Some loose threads and small pulls in embroidery. Minor fray at bottom of center back placket. This garment has been gently cleaned. Please use the zoom in feature to examine each image.

This garment is over 100 years old and is sold in as is condition. I try my best to point out all flaws in my description. Handle with care and appreciation!
