Nordic is a snood or hood pattern (balaclava type) available from 2 years old. The largest size fits for an adult. It can be worn over a ski helmet, just be sure to take a fabric with at least 30% of elasticity for that.

If you have some issues sewing this pattern, please send me a message, I would be happy to help! I did my best to detail the steps as much as possible but some of them can be a bit hard to understand.

The snood is wide enough to cover the upper part of the bust, and can be pulled up to cover the mouth and nose. It can be sewn with or without a hood.
You can add bear ears to the hood. Its opening can be tightened with a drawstring for maximum protection against the cold. Add drawstring caps or pom-pom to the ends. The hood can be lined or not, the lined version can face temperatures of around -15°C/ 5°F.
