Bonsai Calendar! Bonsai trees are a visual representation of the passage of time. They are grown and pruned over decades. So what better plant to represent a calendar than a Bonsai? This was modeled after a Japanese Maple, known for their uniquely shaped red leaves. On the first of the month you start with a bare tree. And each day the tree gets a new leaf so you can watch your month bloom. If you love Bonsai Trees but want something a little smaller, check out my Bendy Bonsai Fidgets (link below)!
How to use? To start the month, remove all the leaves from the tree. On the first day of the month, place the 1st leaf in front of the rock in the pot. Then on the 2nd day, swap leaf 1 with leaf 2 and place it on the tree. Repeat each day of the month to keep track of the date and to watch your tree bloom! At the end of the month, swap the month card inside of the rock.
How does the pot work? The pot, drawer, and leaf lifters all print in place. The drawer is pushed out to one side to allow you to grab your month card and leaf for your tree. There are lifters to help you lift your leaf out of the drawer.
If you want an extra set of leaves in a different color to change things up between seasons, you can select that in the drop-down menu. Sets beyond the first will not fit in the pot. You can type your choice of colors for the extra sets in the box at checkout or message me, or, you can leave it blank and I'll choose for you.
This item ships in multiple pieces for safety. It snaps together easily and intuitively.

Depending on the camera and screen settings, colors may differ slightly in person. For the rainbow color, specific colors cannot be guaranteed; you will receive the next colors on the spool; if you purchase a small item, there may be little to no color change.

🔨 3D printed in high-quality PLA for lasting durability. PLA is a friendly, nontoxic, biodegradable plastic made from sugar cane and corn starch. It is waterproof and weatherproof within reason. The sun will eventually bleach the colors if left outside all summer and it may warp thin parts. They will melt at dishwasher temperatures. Being a 3D-printed item, each will be slightly different. Layer lines and other imperfections may be visible.
