Seller's description

A beautiful, one-of-a-kind vintage Turkish terracotta pot, hand selected for its warm earthy tones, aged patina and unmistakable old-world character.

These traditional Turkish vessels were originally used for storing olive oil, fermenting wine and preserving water. Today, they make exceptional decorative vessels for the home - styled on a kitchen island, open shelving, console, mantel, bedside table or simply standing beautifully on their own.

Each pot is completely unique. Decades of use, weather, handling and age have created the colour variation, texture, worn edges, small chips, cracks and other imperfections that make these pieces so special. No two are alike, and their patina cannot be replicated in a new piece.

At Wren & Brier, we personally hand source our vintage pottery and choose each piece for its character. We look for beautiful earthy tones, bold shapes, wonderful patina and those little imperfections that tell the story of a well-loved object.

After placing an order, we'll reach out through Etsy so you have the opportunity to select the exact vase you'd like us to ship.

Many customers reach out to us first so we can photograph several vases side-by-side, making it easy to choose the one that feels just right for their space.

This listing is for ONE vintage Turkish pot.

Approximate dimensions:
8–10" wide x 11–15" high

Please note that dimensions, colour and shape vary from piece to piece. Photos represent the style and character of the pots available, but the exact piece you receive will be selected from our current collection.

Vintage pottery may have chips, cracks, grazing, holes, uneven surfaces and other signs of age. These are natural characteristics of authentic vintage pottery and are part of its beauty.

All vintage pieces are final sale. Each Pot has been inspected and approved by Turkish Cultural Office.

Shipping to the US is DDP. We pay applicable duty and brokerage fees, so there are no additional customs or brokerage charges due upon delivery.

If you're looking for a particular size, shape, colour or style, please send us a message. We are always happy to send photos of our current selection so you can choose your favourite.

We also offer sourcing and discounts for larger orders and design projects.
