It works great. But because of the filament it does make a scratching noise when sliding it.

Since this is made from 3D printing fillament when you slide it back and forth it feels like when you scratch a chalkbaord (I know many of you probably never experienced that, lol), but yes, it can sound and feel uncomfortable but the purpose of the item works great.
