I take great care with packing and shipping, this includes good quality double walled card boxes, bubble wrap and void fillers such as air pockets. I'll gift wrap your order for you - if your order is a gift and you would like me to send a personalised handwritten card with your order I have a range of greeting cards that you can select from. Look for 'card selection' in helensprettyvintage, select a card to go with your order and include the note you would like written inside your card. In the unusual situation of your purchase not reaching you in good condition due to being damaged during shipping, please CONTACT ME WITHIN 14 DAYS OF DELIVERY as shipping companies will only consider a claim if made within this time scale.

How old are antique and vintage items?

Vintage means over 20 years old, inline with Etsy's policy, however most items described in Helens Pretty Vintage as vintage are from the 1970's and earlier. Items described as antique are over 100 years old.

Buying more than one item - working out shipping costs.

If you are buying more than one item shipping may not be as expensive as initially quoted. Once you have placed your order I will check shipping based on combined weight and size. I refund any overpayment for shipping.

What does vintage condition mean?

Vintage condition means an item will have signs of use and age - which often all part of its character. The item will not have damage such as cracks, chips or breaks. All repairs will be detailed and photographed. Any time worn damage will be described in the item details.

Why is the cost of shipping so high?

Unfortunately shipping is expensive and there's no way around it, costs of shipping by UPS, DPD and Royal Mail for example increased significantly during the last 12 months. I always make time to search for a the most economical, speedy and safe carrier. Shipping will not necessarily be tracked as this can add to the cost; Royal Mail standard class does not include tracking. Shipping upgrade can be organised if you message me before you buy so I can set up the changes on the listing you are interested in.

Cream Glazed Stoneware Bottles, lots of shapes and sizes to select from.

Old Victorian rustic bottles that make a sweet little vase and for rustic farmhouse kitchen decor.

Lovely thick cream glaze. The glaze has patches of rusty colour in patches which would have come from the glazing process.

Glazed inside making it suitable for holding liquid.

Priced individually.

These old bottles were originally made for keeping liquids cold, hence being made from thick stoneware. Many have been excavated from Victorian bottle dumps and survived in great condition.
