Wooden coat rack shelf with 4 to 6 peg coat key hooks, minimalist industrial hallway book shelf, rustic natural wood handmade in Somerset UK

Rustic country cottage style wooden hat & coat rack shelf with hooks measures 12 cm high X 90 cm wide and 13 cm deep.

Our furniture and home accessories are all handcrafted by our small team in rural Somerset and Marc’s rustic designs with a contemporary twist are inspired by sleek modernist shapes and traditional techniques, such as the ‘dovetail’ joint which can be seen on our cabinets and mirrors.
We believe in sustainable furniture making using natural wood; we reuse much of our packaging and source materials and supplies locally whenever we can.

Design inspiration;
Handcrafted from sustainable natural wood (usually Redwood or Larch) by Marc and our small team in our Somerset workshop; our modern rustic chunky wooden shelf has been designed by Marc to be a versatile shelf for hallway books, coat, bag and book storage.

Our solid wooden wall shelf with coat hooks is deep enough for paperback books, ornaments, bags and hats; the perfect stylish solution to keeping your hallway and porch space organised.

Design details;
Wooden wall shelf size options:
A) 12 cm high X 90 cm wide and 13 cm deep overall size, with 4 light wood coat hanger hooks evenly spaced across the back panel for your bags and coats.

B) 12 cm high X 100 cm wide and 13 cm deep overall size, with 6 light wood coat hanger hooks evenly spaced across the back panel.

For ease of installation your wooden shelf comes with four part pre drilled fixing point holes across the back panel (fixings not included, for any advice on wall hanging just ask)

Danish Oil Finish:
The shelf in the main pictures has been finished in a light toned Danish Oil and we also have a dark toned finish (the coat hanger hooks will remain their natural pale beech, for a pleasant contrast of wood tones)

Please select your wood tone option when ordering.
The finish which we use is hard wearing and water resistant (especially suitable for humid bathroom conditions)
** Please note that each wood tone Danish Oil finish is dependent on the individual wood grain and sap content of the natural wood and there may be some variation from the pictured items **

Aftercare instructions;
To prevent your wood furniture from cracking, warping, or drying out;
* Wood does best in moderate temperatures of around 20– 22 degrees Celsius and about 50 – 55% humidity, so this is what we recommend keeping your home set to in order to keep your wood furniture in top condition
* Avoid frequent and sudden changes in humidity, as they can be damaging to furniture.
* Avoid excess heat or dryness, as this can cause wood to split and crack.
* The householder is responsible in the event of damage caused by very high temperatures and very low humidity.
* Be sure to keep your furniture away from heat sources such as fireplaces or radiators.
