Handmade in Lewes, East Sussex, our solid oak floating shelves are crafted from kiln dried French oak and designed to showcase the natural beauty, grain, and character of real wood.

At OakistUK, we believe that wood should be celebrated. Chunky and rustic in appearance, our solid oak shelves make a timeless statement in both modern and traditional homes.

Each oak shelf is made from high quality rustic farmhouse solid oak, carefully selected for strength and long term stability. These shelves are ideal for kitchens, living rooms, alcoves, fireplaces, or bathrooms. Many customers also choose them to match their solid oak kitchen worktops for a cohesive and premium look.

🔨 Construction Details
For shelves with a 30cm depth, the shelf is professionally made by joining two solid oak boards using biscuit joinery and high strength wood adhesive. This traditional cabinet making technique ensures excellent strength, stability, and a seamless solid oak appearance, while allowing the timber to move naturally over time.

Shelves are predrilled for easy installation.
Floating shelf bracket fixings are supplied free of charge with your shelf.

⚠️ Important Installation Information
These solid oak shelves must be mounted on suitable wall types such as brick, stone, or wall studs. Plasterboard alone is not suitable. We do not accept returns if shelves are unsuitable for the intended wall type.

Shelves measuring 200cm and longer are carefully packed and shipped in a reinforced protective box rather than standard packaging. This enhanced packing method helps reduce the risk of damage during transit and ensures your shelf arrives straight, secure, and in perfect condition.

The items was excellent. Unfortunately the issue was with Evri not delivering on time. However, this seller did keep me updated and was no way their fault.
