What type of paper are you using for your designs?

The paper used for my projects is 80 lb (216 gsm) textured cardstock. I use the brand 'Park Lane' from Joann's & I love it! I use Bearly Art Precision Craft Glue for adhesive. I do not recommend using a lighter weight paper for my designs as many of the files require the 80lb paper thickness for structure.

I don't see the svg file! Where is it?

Sometimes computers will re-label svg files as 'html' files, since they're able to be viewed in a web browser. If you're not seeing the svg file, try that one! The files will be located in either the 'Dashed Score Lines' folder, or the 'Solid Score Lines' folder, the latter to be used with the Cricut Score Tool.

Can I hand cut this instead of using a cutting machine?

I don't recommend hand cutting any of my designs, many of them have very very small and intricate pieces. I could see it potentially working if you saved the design at a larger size & used them for decor, but I don't recommend it.

Do your designs work for the Cricut Joy machine?

I design my files to work with a 12x12 mat, but some of my designs will already work for the Cricut Joy, and some may be resized slightly to fit on the smaller mat. Look in the description under 'Finished Size' to see whether or not I recommend a specific design for the Cricut Joy.

The design is coming in all black in my program, what is going on?

Looks like you're using the DXF file. For Cricut Design Space and Silhouette Studio, you need to use the SVG version of the file. This way you'll be able to see all of the colors of the individual pieces, as well as the scorelines in their respective places.

✦ FINISHED SIZE:

When folded out & standing up, the card is about 7” tall, 4” wide, and about 1” deep. When folded flat, the card is about 7” tall and 5” wide. Fits great in a 5x7” envelope!

This design may be compatible with the Cricut Joy machine if it's slightly resized. Keep in mind this was designed for a 12x12 mat, so small pieces may not cut well.
