Highlights
These are real, dried and preserved honeybees that were preserved with a dehydrating method. These bees are great for photography, arts, crafts, ornaments etc. These bees keep their brighter coloring than the alcohol preserved bees but are unable to be rehydrated for pinning. Please keep in mind, these bees are just dehydrated, they’ll need to be stored in an area that isn’t humid. Humidity will cause mold. For bees that are best for resin art projects please see my other bee listing:

All honeybees are in great condition and there are no defects in any of the bees and all bees were taken ethically from a local commercial beekeeper-each bee was preserved immediately after death so there are no quality issues. There will be color and size variation between each bee as each bee is unique and the bees are a mix of Italian(yellow/golden abdomen), carniolin(dark brown/black abdomen) and Russian(black abdomen).
Each order will have the bees in a jewelry box with a silica packet so the bees won’t be damaged during shipping and I do add some extra bees just in case there was a bee that managed to get damaged somehow in transit.
I collect fresh bees daily and all are ethically collected. You will not find better quality bees as these are collected fresh and preserved properly!
The bees may have a slight scent to them as insects give off a scent when they die.
Each purchase goes back into creating healthy hives and saving the bees!

They were smaller honey bees than what I'm used too seeing, but they were fully intact and safely packaged. Will order again.
