The Dove maxi dress is a relaxed-fit cotton dress pattern. It features an empire waistline, a square neckline, and a voluminous skirt with pockets. The side seams have straps that allow you to regulate the tightness at the back or front of the dress, allowing you to tie the straps either in the front or back.
The dress includes a neckline facing instead of lining, which simplifies the sewing process for beginners.

This is a PDF digital sewing pattern. You can easily download and print it at home using your printer (or if you like, at a print shop) and assemble the pages by taping them together.

Sizes are layered so you can print only the size you need, or any other size as many times as you want. To select the correct size, refer to the size chart and the measurements of the finished garment provided in the instructions.

The "Final Dress Measurements" table includes the exact measurements of the finished dress for each size. When selecting a size, please refer to the measurements in the table, as they differ slightly from body measurements due to wearing ease. This will give you a clear idea of how the finished dress will fit including dress length, allowing you to make any necessary changes to the pattern before tailoring.

The pattern covers 13 sizes, ranging from:
US 00-22
EU 30-54
UK 2-26

Dress length on the HPS varies from 150 cm to 162 cm (59 – 63 inches) depending on the size.

• A4 paper size pattern for home printing (file with layered sizes)
• US paper size pattern for home printing (layered files for each size)
• A0 paper size pattern for print shop printing (layered files for each size)
• Detailed instructions for sizing, printing, cutting, sewing, recommended fabric, and a step-by-step sewing guide.
• Pattern layouts for printing and assembling

For the Dove maxi dress pattern, you can use any type of woven fabric, regardless of whether it has stretch. You have the option to choose from various fabric weights, such as light, medium, or heavy, depending on the season or occasion. Ideal choices include linen, cotton, muslin, and their blends, but you can also select other woven fabrics.

Please note that this pattern is not suitable for knit fabrics.

• Fabric (main fabric and fusible interfacing) at least 145 cm wide
• Hidden zipper 60 cm [23-24”] long
• hook & eye (optional)
• Matching thread
