Before placing your custom order, please feel free to reach out to us to ensure that the phrase you'd like to engrave will fit the available space on the pen. Please note that our engraving services are suitable for metal and resin surfaces, but not for wood and leather. Additionally, some areas on the pen, such as the top and the nib, have limited space for personalization, so only initials, a date, or a simple symbol may fit in these spots. We appreciate your creative ideas and will do our utmost to bring them to life. Please be aware that personalized items are non-returnable.

You often ask us how to care for solid wood pens, so we'd like to suggest using natural beeswax paste. Beeswax paste provides an additional layer of protection for the wood surface, nourishing it and helping to prevent dryness. This is especially beneficial for absorbent woods like oak. It is very easy to apply, buff, and maintain. Simply use the paste from time to time when your pen barrel feels dry or loses its color, which is quite normal with regular use. A well-cared-for pen writes beautifully and lasts longer!

Regarding the engraving, we’d like to kindly inform our valued customers that gold-plated metal clips cannot be engraved using higher pressure, as this could damage the delicate plating layer. Additionally, some customers prefer a more discreet personalization.

Regarding the nib It is normal to experience slight discomfort when using a fountain pen for the first time. Each person has a unique writing style, with different hand inclination, pressure, and writing speed. With continued use, the nib will gradually adapt to your hand, facilitating ink flow and improving the pleasantness of writing. Allow me to also recommend trying different types of paper because not all types of paper are suitable for use with a fountain pen. The choice of the right paper can significantly impact the quality of writing.

To ensure the long-term and proper functioning of your fountain pen, we recommend periodically rinsing the writing section under warm, plain water. You can unscrew the finger grip section with the nib attached for a more thorough cleaning. Please avoid using chemical solutions and ultrasonic washing machines, as they may damage the pen. Regular cleaning will help keep your pen free from dried ink and maintain optimal performance.

There are two primary preferences among fountain pen users: some favor writing with the cap posted, while others prefer it unposted. Posting the cap helps prevent its loss and stops the pen from rolling off the desk. Additionally, it extends the pen's length, which can be advantageous for those with larger hands. However, this can add weight to the pen, potentially leading to fatigue during long writing sessions. In the end, the choice depends on individual tastes and preferences, as opinions differ greatly. Some enjoy the extended appearance, while others might not find it visually appealing. The handmade fountain pen is crafted from black hard resin and features a mysterious circle-in-grain design, honoring the International UFO Congress in Saint Vincent, Italy. Please specify whether you prefer the gold or white motif and fittings (see the differences in the pictures).

The pen’s finger grip section is made from solid 925 sterling silver and engraved with an elegant guilloché pattern. Customers can rest assured they are purchasing truly premium writing instruments, as our company is a member of the Italian Silversmith Corporation. We comply with both Italian and European regulations, verified by marking each pen with a rhombus-shaped stamp containing the distinctive mark *675TO (our guild symbol) and the oval 925 stamp. These marks guarantee that we use genuine sterling silver.

Our fountain pens feature a dual-use filling system, allowing the use of either a converter or international standard cartridges. Each pen comes with a pump converter installed and includes a complimentary set of black and blue ink cartridges.

The fountain pen is equipped with a medium-sized steel nib, sourced from the renowned German company Bock, ensuring superior writing quality and smoothness. I love that the pen is handmade, however, I want to point out for others that the "UFO" design is not as vivid in person as it is in the photo on Etsy.
