All of my jewelry is handmade with only .925 Sterling Silver. Sterling Silver is a metal alloy which can react with chemicals found in the air to produce tarnish; moisture, sunlight and salt increase this reaction. Protect your sterling silver by keeping it in an airtight package or jewelry box stored in a cool, dry place. Tarnish is easily removed by polishing. For jewelry with a shiny finish use a jewelry cloth or regular dish soap. Mate finish jewelry can be cleaned with dish soap or a gentle abrasive such as baking soda.
