Sweet and very wearable blouse, pairs well in a vintage or modern wardrobe. The collar is sharply pointed, but softened by the embroidered trim. Cuffed, short sleeves. 6 original buttons. Blouses are not meant to fit at their maximum measurements - for ease of comfort and movement, please notice the recommendation.

Just a note on linen as a fiber - the texture is sometimes slightly uneven, and "slubs" occur. This is totally a normal attribute, for texture and some small color variation. I have washed this by hand, and steamed when dry. I recommend using the same care, although using an iron will give crisper results than what I show. Also, dry cleaners are terrific for items that need a professional press.

I package all items very carefully, often with recycled packing materials. It may not look pretty, but it will be secured as much as I can foresee the security need.

I do not accept returns but I am very speedy to reply to any inquiries - I want you to be comfortable making a purchase. I am very experienced with vintage and measuring vintage; labels and sizes are very, very different now, so please make sure to ask questions before purchase. The measurements I give may not match your vision of the approximate size (the one listed as part of the Etsy protocol), go by the given item measurements, please.

Measurements are of the actual garment, not of a body. When possible to estimate, we will give "best fit" measurements. It is always recommended to have your measurements taken by an experienced tailor. To compare your own garment to that of the shown vintage, do NOT stretch, many older vintage garments have very little stretch or wiggle room. If you are particularly tall or petite, you may want to write for different ratio measurements. I base the ratios of my measurements on my own "average" size, 5'4". When possible, I try on a garment to check where certain hit spots are - such as an under bust on an originally juniors item may be narrower than an average woman's rib cage or under bust, or the shoulder seam placement, as that varies from era to era. Someone who is taller or knows that their torso is longer (or has a fuller bosom) may want to check the shoulder to waist ratio, which is not commonly added.
