I personally use Swarovski PP18 Rhinestone 1012 chatons in my work and these vintage Swarovski rhinestones are the perfect size when you need that extra amount of bling in just the right spot. These vintage Swarovski rhinestone chatons are perfect for crystal clay work (epoxy clay). I generally carry the hard to find smaller Swarovski Rhinestone chaton sizes because they are what I use in my work and what I look for when travelling and buying.

Please see the image I created to reference the difference in faceting from the art. 1100 Swarovski Rhinestone Chaton to the 1012 Swarovski Rhinestone Chaton. The 1100 and the 1012 Swarovski rhinestones are no longer being produced by Swarovski and are considered vintage. Both the 1012 and 1100 Swarovski Rhinestones are distinctly different. If you are using the rhinestone chatons to repair vintage jewelry, then you will want to consider which rhinestones will fit your project best. The 1100 Swarovski rhinestone chatons are not as brilliant (due to less facets) as the 1012 rhinestones and when replacing one two rhinestones within a piece that is missing stones, matching not only color but type is paramount. ***TIP: If you are using our vintage rhinestones to repair, try counting the facets with a normal jeweler's loop =) This will tell you what kind of rhinestone you will need to make the best replacement possible. If they have no facets, then the rhinestones are likely molded glass or paste.
