Incredibly lightweight, this helm is comfortable enough to wear for hours! I easily incorporated it into my outfit, as a hooded cloak helped take up the extra space—a great trick, since the sizing is quite large (likely designed for a man). However, assembly was difficult. The four pieces use a 'hole and pin' system, but the paint made the fittings too tight. It required significant sanding of both the pins and holes to fit. One pin snapped, and hot glue was ultimately needed to complete the build. Buyers should anticipate necessary modifications to assemble the product.
The pieces are not put together and do not fit in the holes. One piece broke off trying to get it to fit. Very disappointing
I was really looking forward to wearing this at an upcoming Tolkien Society event and was incredibly disappointing upon opening the package. The spires on the crown are missing paint and have really visible print lines on some parts and none of them fit into the slots on the crown. I couldn't wear this even if I wanted to since, again, literally none of the spires fit into the crown. This would require hours of sanding and repainting to even put together as shown in the image. Upon messaging the seller I was told that all pieces are put together to be tested and the layer lines were invisible. Luckily he said he would be happy to refund me once I return it, which I will do after posting this.

Yeah I’m sorry this seems to be your experience. I’m not sure what could have happened in shipping between when I test fitted the pieces onto the crown before removing to paint.
