A decorated piece of Turkish tile. Which depicts a seascape. Hand painted with acrylic paint and sealed with water-based varnish. From the German
word for baked brick-Siegel is used for covering roofs, there are other names such as Turkish tile or Roman tile. Each tile is thoroughly cleaned and treated before being given a new life.
Please note that clay tiles have elements of a previous life.
All the tiles I use are over 60 years old and left completely natural (all edges and imperfections on them)
