Are all items in your shop vintage?

Yes — all items in my shop are vintage. Etsy defines vintage as items that are at least 20 years old. When available, production years are identified through signatures, maker’s marks, documented production periods, or publicly known manufacturing dates. If an exact year is not explicitly marked, the production period is carefully estimated based on style, materials, construction, and comparable documented examples.

How do you select the items in your shop?

Each piece is individually sourced and selected based on material quality, craftsmanship, condition, and timeless design. I focus on objects made from natural, durable materials such as ceramic, stone, metal, wood, and glass. I strongly avoid items with structural damage, major cracks, or flaws that compromise function or overall presence. My goal is to offer pieces that feel intentional, lasting, and appropriate for everyday use—objects that add character and substance to a space while remaining practical and enduring.

What condition are the items in?

All items are carefully selected to ensure they remain structurally sound and fully functional. Vintage items naturally show signs of age, which may include minor surface wear, patina, or small irregularities consistent with their history. Any notable imperfections are clearly disclosed and photographed. I strongly avoid items with major cracks, structural damage, or flaws that would negatively impact the function or overall aesthetic of the piece. My goal is to provide pieces that are both beautiful and practical for everyday use and display.

How are items measured?

Measurements are taken as accurately as possible, typically within 0.25 inches. For vessels such as vases, planters, and candle holders, both overall dimensions and opening diameters are included when relevant. For artwork, both the full frame dimensions and visible art dimensions are provided. Adjustable items such as lamps or stools may be measured at multiple heights or positions to give a complete understanding of scale. Because many vintage items are handmade, slight variations and irregularities are normal and noted when relevant.

Are items cleaned before shipping?

Yes. All items are gently cleaned of any dust and dirt using a mild soap and water solution and a soft cloth. Care is taken not to alter original finishes, patina, or delicate surfaces. Certain age-related characteristics, such as patina or flaws to oil paintings, are intentionally preserved as part of the piece’s character and authenticity.

Do you accept returns?

Yes. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. Items must be returned in their original condition. Please keep the original packaging until you are certain you will keep the item, as vintage pieces require specialized packing materials for safe transit. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer unless the item arrives damaged or there was an error with the order.
