How do I download the print from my Etsy account?

ℹ️ If you're logged into your Etsy account in a web browser: • Click on "Your account" (the circular icon in the top right, showing your avatar) • Click on "Purchases" • Find your artwork purchase in the list and click on the "Download files" button on the right (or below if you're using a phone browser). • From the Downloads page, click on the "Download" button at the bottom of the message. This will download the PDF with the link to the Google Drive folder containing your files. See below for more details. ℹ️ If you use the Etsy app: Etsy doesn't allow the files to be downloaded via its app so please either use the link in the confirmation email (see below) or log into Etsy on a web browser (see above).

How do I download the print if I checked out as a guest?

You can find a link to download your purchase in the confirmation email Etsy sends to you (see below). If you can't find the email, be sure to check your spam or junk folder.

How do I download the print via my confirmation email?

Regardless of how you made your purchase, Etsy will have sent you a confirmation email containing a link to the Downloads page where you'll see the "Download" button at the bottom of the message. This will download the PDF with the link to the Google Drive folder containing your files. See below for more details.

How do I download what I need from Google Drive?

When you open your PDF download and clicked on the Google Drive link it contains, you'll be taken to the Google Drive folder containing your files. You can download the files individually, by moving your pointer over the row and clicking on the "Download" link that appears on the right. You can download all the files together by clicking "Download all" above the list (Google will generate and downloads a Zip file containing all the folder's contents).

I log into Etsy using my Apple ID and I can't find my confirmation email

If you can't find the email from Etsy with your purchase details, you'll need to log in to Etsy again using your Apple ID and download your files from your Purchases page (described above). Sometimes Etsy accounts that use Apple IDs are not permitted access to your email address and so Etsy is not able to send the purchase details.

Which file should I use?

We provide you with 5 high-resolution files, each named for its aspect ratio. We have chosen the 5 most common ratios for prints and frames. Each file can be printed at 300dpi at any size up to a maximum, for example: • 2x3 ratio: 4x6", 6x9", 8x12", 10x15", 12x18", 14x21", 20x30", 24x36" max (60x91cm, 7200x10800px) • 3x4 ratio: 6x8", 9x12", 15x20", 18x24", 21x28", 24x32" max (60x81cm, 7200x9600px) • 4x5 ratio: 4x5", 8x10", 12x15", 16x20", 20x25", 24x30" max (60x76cm, 7200x9000px) • 5x7 ratio: 5x7", 10x14", 15x21", 20x28", 25x35" max (63x88cm, 7500x10500px) This ratio also matches A5-A1 paper sizes. • 11:14 ratio: 11x14", 22x28" max (55x71cm, 6600x8400px)

Where can I print and what paper should I use?

You can print your artwork using an online print service, a local printing company, or even at home. If you use a printing service/company it's best to upload the file to them as emailing can often inadvertently reduce the file quality resulting in a lower quality print. If you're printing at home, be aware that the quality of home printers varies a great deal, so the detail and colour reproduction may not be as good as a commercial printer. We'd recommend a heavy weight matt paper or card. A slight texture will add to the authentic feel of the print.
