Which devices do your mounts fit?

We make mounts for the Starlink Mini, the Starlink Standard 4 Gen 3 dish (also called Rev4, V3, V4, or UTA-232), the Starlink V5, and the Starlink Router Mini. We don't make mounts for the older Gen 2 rectangular dish. We also make mounts for Peplink Slim MIMO antennas, Dragy GPS meters, Fanttik tools, Bosch BAT414 batteries, and the Silhouette CAMEO 5. Each listing names the exact device it fits, so please check yours against it before ordering. The device itself isn't included: we make the mount, not the electronics.

What are the mounts made of, and are they strong enough?

Our mounts are printed in UV-resistant ASA, a plastic made for years of outdoor sun without fading or turning brittle, and they're built well beyond a typical hobby print: solid outer walls about 2.5 mm thick (six passes of material around every edge), a dense 75% internal fill, and solid top and bottom surfaces. Hail guard shields are impact-resistant polycarbonate (similar to Lexan®), 3 mm on the Starlink Mini and 4.5 mm on the Gen 3 and V5. Hardware is matched to each mount, like 18-8 stainless steel screws on roof mounts and black-oxide steel M5 screws on rail mounts. Every design is tested in real-world conditions by full-time travelers.

Can I put a suction cup mount on the outside of my vehicle?

No. Every suction cup mount we make is designed for interior glass only. The mount goes on the inside of your sunroof, moonroof, or window, and the dish works through the glass.

Do your suction cup mounts work in a Tesla?

It depends on the glass. Pre-2025 Model Y and Model 3 roofs pass the Starlink signal, and our suction cup mounts work there. Tesla's newer heat-rejecting glass does not: the 2025 and later Model Y roof, the Model Y L roof and rear hatch, and the Cybertruck roof all have a metallic layer that blocks the signal. The front windshield on those vehicles does pass signal, but suction mounts on a windshield are for parked use only. Not sure which glass you have? Run an app obstruction test before ordering: hold the dish against the roof glass where the mount will go and check the Starlink app for a connection and obstructions.

Which way should my roof face for a flat roof mount?

Our flat roof mounts hold the dish flat against the roof, so your roof decides where the dish points. Starlink dishes aim at the part of the sky with the most satellites, which in the US means toward the north, tilted about 20 degrees, and the Starlink app asks you to rotate the dish to within a few degrees of that target. Flat roofs on houses, RVs, and vans work well: rotate the mount to match the app's target before you screw it down. A north-facing roof slope is close to ideal. A roof that slopes toward the south tilts the dish away from the satellites and puts the ridge in its view, so expect obstruction dropouts and a misaligned alert. Before ordering, set the dish where the mount will go and run the Starlink app's obstruction check.

How do I pick the right rail mount size?

Wrap a string once around the rail where the mount will clamp, measure that length, and divide it by 3.14 to get the rail's diameter. Rails that look like 1" are often 7/8", and a caliper on the outside diameter is better still. If your rail lands between two sizes, message us here on Etsy with the measurement before ordering.

How soon will my order ship, and do you ship internationally?

Every item is printed to order and ships within the processing time shown on its listing, currently 1-3 business days. US orders ship free by USPS Ground Advantage. We ship internationally too, except the Standard 4 Gen 3 and V5 hail guards, which ship within the US only. Import VAT that Etsy collects at checkout is already paid; any other duties or taxes charged on delivery are the buyer's responsibility. Delivery estimates come from Etsy and the carrier and aren't guaranteed.

What's your return policy?

Every item is made to order, so we can't accept cancellations. Returns and exchanges are accepted within 14 days of delivery: message us through Etsy within that window with your order number, the item, and the reason, and we'll reply with approval and the return address. Items must be unused and uninstalled, in the condition you received them, with all parts and hardware. The buyer pays return shipping, and refunds cover the item price.
